The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration has released audio tracks based on observations of three astronomical objects-a dying star, a black hole and a supernova remnant.
“EDnews” reports, which was reported using a technique called sonification, scientists have converted telescope data into sounds that allow us to hear how the cosmos “sounds”. Each composition reflects various phenomena, from black holes to energy surges during a star explosion.
The musical images were created using flute sounds, synthesized tones and electronic pulsations that correspond to changes in brightness and radiation intensity. This approach helps researchers analyze the universe in new ways, and allows the general public to literally hear it in a new dimension.
