A delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev participated in the XVI International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic World: Kazan Forum” 2025.This year's forum is themed “Digitalization: A new reality and additional opportunities for expanding cooperation.” Issues of international partnership, finance and investments, transport logistics, tourism, education in the fields of medicine were discussed at various platforms of the Kazan Forum.
According to EDnews the deputy prime minister of Azerbaijan participated in the plenary session and provided detailed information on the development of digitalization in Azerbaijan and the projects implemented in this area in the country.
During the visit, Shahin Mustafayev held a number of bilateral meetings with high-ranking officials. Negotiations were held with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alex, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khojayev, as well as with Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman and CEO of the DP World group of companies.
The meetings discussed the prospects for economic cooperation between the countries, including the development of bilateral and multilateral relations, the expansion of transport and logistics capabilities, and the strengthening of mutual relations between regional organizations. Joint initiatives in the fields of trade, investment and digital technologies were highlighted.
The delegation also visited the Azerbaijani stand at the Russia Halal Expo international exhibition, where national achievements in the field of products and services were demonstrated within the framework of the Forum.
