The discussions focused on the development of bilateral relations, as well as the regional security matters.The officials also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
Commenting on the situation in the South Caucasus, he stated that Azerbaijan is dedicated to fostering peace with Armenia while continuing to deepen regional cooperation, including with Iran. He also noted Azerbaijan's success in liberating its occupied territories and restoring its territorial integrity, attributing these achievements to the country’s firm policies.
"Pleased to address Tehran Dialogue Forum at “one to one” format and talk about new global (dis)order, regional ownership and inclusiveness, further enhancement of Azerbaijan-Iran bilateral cooperation and elevating it to qualitatively new level as a follow up President Masud Pezeshkian’s visit to Azerbaijan and consolidation of peace and stability in the region of South Caucasus," Hajiyev wrote on X.
