Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay a visit to Khankandi, Azerbaijan, on July 4 to participate in the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), stated Fahrettin Altun, head of the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidency, EDnews reports.
Altun noted that the summit meeting, which will be themed "New Vision of the Economic Cooperation Organization for a Sustainable and Climate-Resilient Future," will primarily focus on exchanging views on cooperation between member countries on issues such as climate change, trade, transportation networks, and reform in the Organization.
"Erdogan will speak at the summit meeting and hold meetings with leaders. In addition to the heads of state and government of member countries, observers, including the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and representatives of international organizations will participate in the summit meeting," Altun added.
