Twelve members of parliament from the Gakharia for Georgia party have had their parliamentary mandates terminated following a decision taken at today’s plenary session, EDnews reports, citing GPB.
The MPs who lost their mandates are: Teona Akubardia, Ana Buchukuri, Giorgi Gakharia, Levan Gogichaishvili, Zaza Tavadze, Beka Liluashvili, Natia Mezvrishvili, Berdia Sichinava, Kakhaberi Kemoklidze, Roin Kochorashvili, Dimitri Tskitishvili, and Zviad Dzidziguri.
According to the parliamentary rapporteur on the issue, the grounds for early termination of the mandates was the party members’ failure to attend parliamentary sessions without valid reasons.
