Azerbaijan generated just over 62.078 billion manats (just over $36.5 billion) of GDP in the first half of 2025, marking a 1.5% increase year-on-year, EDnews informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
Over the past year, the production of added value in Azerbaijan's oil and gas sector fell by 3.1%, while increasing by 3.9% in the non-oil and gas sector.
In Azerbaijan, industry comprises 34.9% of the total GDP, followed by trade and vehicle repair – 10.2%, transport and warehousing – 7%, and agriculture, forestry, and fishing – 5.9%.
Construction contributes 6.3%, while tourist accommodation and catering account for 2.8%. Information and communication represent 1.8%, and other areas, along with net taxes on products and imports, constitute 21.1% and 10%, respectively.
During the reporting period, the value of GDP per person was 6,066 manats (about $3,568).
