Türkiye is taking decisive steps forward on the path to liberation from terrorism, ruling AK Party's representative Omer Celik said on X, EDnews reports.
Celik noted that the first step has been taken in the process of surrendering weapons by former supporters of the terrorist group PKK within the framework of the Terror-free Türkiye initiative.
He emphasized that on the instructions of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, state bodies continue comprehensive work in all areas, especially in diplomacy, intelligence and security, to achieve the goal of Terror-free Türkiye.
Celik added that at the current stage, a critical threshold has been passed to achieve that. The process of eliminating all branches and illegal structures of the PKK, surrendering and burning weapons, should be completed in a short time.
