Ismat Sattarov, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Audiovisual Council, met with Alim Bayel, Kazakh ambassador to Azerbaijan.
Ismat Sattarov gave the ambassador detailed information about the Audiovisual Council’s activities, the progress achieved, regulation of the audiovisual media sector, reforms implemented in this area in the country, and future plans.
The Chairman of the Council noted that the brotherly states of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are united by fundamental values such as common ethnic roots, language, history, culture, and similarities in customs and traditions. Relations between the two countries are at a high level. Currently, there is wide potential for cooperation between media entities, television, and radio channels of the two countries.
Ismat Sattarov emphasized the importance of implementing joint projects in the audiovisual media sector between the two countries, exchanging experience, and building mutually beneficial cooperation.
Thanking him for the warm reception, Alim Bayel stated that relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are rapidly developing in all directions.
He underlined that his country is interested in fostering cooperation between broadcasters.
He particularly stressed the importance of expanding cooperation between television channels, ensuring reciprocal broadcasting of channels from both countries, and cooperating to resolve technical and legal issues in this area.
He expressed his pleasure at serving as ambassador in Azerbaijan and stated that he would spare no effort to further deepen relations between the countries.
The meeting also exchanged views on other issues of mutual concern.
