The building of the Netherlands Embassy in Tel Aviv sustained minor damage as a result of an Iranian missile strike, EDnews informs via Israeli Channel 12.
According to the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a window of the diplomatic mission was shattered due to the impact. Fortunately, there were no injuries or casualties reported.
The incident occurred amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, which have resulted in several cross-border strikes. Although the Netherlands was not a target, the proximity of the embassy to affected areas led to collateral damage.
Dutch officials have been in contact with Israeli authorities to assess the situation and ensure the safety of diplomatic personnel. The Ministry has also stated that operations at the embassy are continuing as normal, despite the minor damage.
This development underscores growing international concerns about the widening scope of the conflict and the potential threat to foreign diplomatic missions operating in the region.
