Israel is preparing a new and more sophisticated operation against Iran, one that is expected to be even more complex than its previous action against Lebanon's Hezbollah, Israel's Ambassador to the USA, Michael Herzog, said, EDnews informs via TASS.
"There are several surprises in store. When the dust settles — on Thursday or Friday — you'll see a few moves that make the pager operation look almost simple by comparison," Herzog said.
On September 17–18, 2024, a series of explosions involving communication devices — predominantly pagers and radios — rocked various areas in Lebanon. According to Lebanese authorities, 37 people were killed and more than 3,000 injured. Hezbollah held Israel responsible for the attacks, and Israeli officials later confirmed their role in the operation.
