The United Nations is committed to supporting Azerbaijan in hosting the upcoming COP29 climate conference, according to Vladanka Andreeva, the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan. According to Ednews, speaking at a media seminar titled "Effective Communication Strategies for COP29" as part of the event "29 Climate Conversations: The Road to COP29," Andreeva expressed the UN's intention to assist the host country and COP29 presidency in all organizational aspects.
"We really want to support the host country and the COP29 presidency in all organizational aspects, and I hope we are succeeding in this," she stated. Andreyeva emphasized that with limited time remaining before the start of COP, the international community must come together to aid Azerbaijan in its preparations. "We want COP29 to be a resounding success," she added.
