During her visit with Umud Mirzayev, head of the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF), Jannah Scott, CEO of the American Center for Religious Freedom, delivered a powerful speech addressing challenges faced by today's youth, Ednews reports.
Ms.Scott talked about how, even though the pandemic is fading away, young people are still struggling with feelings of hopelessness due to violence and lack of opportunities. She said we need to change how we think and focus on truth, justice, and peace for everyone.
She shared three important ideas:
Keep Diversity: Ms.Scott said it's important to involve people from different generations to preserve diversity.
Work Together: She encouraged everyone to work together and take risks, just like Mr. Mirzayev is doing, to make things better for everyone.
Team Up: Ms. Scott said we need to work together across different areas like business, faith, and government to find solutions to our problems.
She also talked about the power of our spirits, saying that we need to draw strength from our spirits to keep going, no matter our beliefs. She warned that if we don't give hope and joy to young people, we risk losing them.
Scott ended with a simple message: "Hope makes life better. Let's give hope to the next generation."
Reflecting on the meeting, she said it inspired her and reminded her of a dream she had long ago. She felt there was something special about this moment and vowed to support the efforts discussed.
