Iran’s Parliament Speaker and senior negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has accused the United States of committing several “major violations” of the memorandum of understanding (MoU), EDnews reports.
In a post on X, Ghalibaf claimed Washington had breached the agreement through what he described as “violating Iranian adjustments in the Strait,” issuing persistent threats of further military strikes, reinstating oil sanctions, carrying out attacks on southern Iran, and supporting what he called continued “Zionist aggression” in Lebanon.
The remarks come amid heightened tensions between Tehran and Washington over the implementation of the MoU, with Iranian officials increasingly criticizing US actions and warning that continued pressure could undermine prospects for further negotiations.
