During the meeting, an exchange of views was held on issues arising from the Azerbaijan-Iran bilateral cooperation agenda following the visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Azerbaijan on April 28, 2025, as well as mutual cooperation relations within the framework of regional and international organizations.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Yalchin Rafiyev met with Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister and Head of the Political and International Research Center of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Saeed Khatibzadeh, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, EDnews.
The parties also noted that establishing contacts and cooperation between research institutes and think tanks of Iran and Azerbaijan would give additional impetus to bilateral cooperation and serve to increase awareness on various topics between the public of the two countries.
