"We are proud that the Azerbaijani army has risen to the level of NATO," Mesut Hakki Casin, a professor at Turkish Yeditepe University and an expert on law, military and security policy, said in a statement. EDnews reports, citing report.az

The expert said that the Azerbaijani Army has achieved an unprecedented feat in the world by liberating Azerbaijan's lands from 30 years of occupation in 44 days: “The Azerbaijani Army, which has been renewed and equipped with modern weapons, has shattered the Armenian myth. It is the legal right of the Azerbaijani Army to take back the lands occupied by Armenia from the perspective of international law.

"It is an unprecedented event in world history that an army returned its lands that had been under occupation for 30 years in 44 days, and this factor revealed how strong the Azerbaijani Army is. But the most important thing was that a state returned its lands by establishing a new model army. The army destroyed Armenian fantasies with its victory. I have written about this in my book."

Casin said that the strategic alliance and military defense agreements between Türkiye and Azerbaijan are determined to overcome all obstacles: "Unfortunately, India, after Russia and France, also began to supply weapons to Armenia. But no matter what power in the world comes, Türkiye and Azerbaijan will not retreat or be afraid. I believe that the exemplary alliance of Türkiye, Pakistan, and Azerbaijan is a guarantee of peace and stability in the region and that this will be further strengthened."

The professor emphasized that the comprehensive strengthening of Azerbaijan will have very positive effects in the Caucasus, especially on Armenia and Georgia: "There are two important factors: The first is the security of Azerbaijan's sovereignty, and the second is how confident it is in the Caucasus. Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Georgia cooperation is very important in terms of the security of the Caucasus, the European Union and NATO. Azerbaijan has ensured that it is a modern, sovereign state among states with the balanced policy it has pursued so far. May the flag of Azerbaijan, which plays a key role in rewriting history in the Caucasus, always be victorious."
