Azerbaijan and the Italian company have discussed prospects for cooperation in the energy sector, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Italy Rashad Aslanov wrote on X,EDnews informs.

During the meeting, there was a constructive exchange of views between Azerbaijan’s diplomatic mission and one of Italy’s leading companies in the energy field. The discussion focused on energy security, green energy initiatives, the development of renewable energy sources, and the expansion of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Ambassador Aslanov emphasized that Italy remains one of Azerbaijan’s key energy partners, highlighting the importance of deepening the energy dialogue and exploring new opportunities. He also underlined Azerbaijan’s role in the Southern Gas Corridor project and Italy’s interest in diversifying its energy supply through this route.
