Zarbaliyev noted that the Khojaly Substation and Digital Management Center aims to provide uninterrupted electricity supply to new residential complexes built in the territory of Khojaly district, as well as agricultural, tourism facilities, and especially various socio-economic areas.
The Khojaly substation, with a capacity of will provide uninterrupted electricity to several areas, Mubariz Zarbaliyev, chief engineer of the Karabakh Regional Energy Supply and Sales Department told EDnews.
He also talked about additional auxiliary lines: "For the electricity supply of the substation, relevant power transmission lines have been laid from the Khankandi-1 and Asgaran substations. This substation will also be connected to the Aghdam-2 substation via a 35 kV power transmission line under construction, which will create a circular electricity supply scheme between the cities of Aghdam, Asgaran, Khojaly, and Khankandi."
The official added that the substation also creates conditions for reducing losses during electricity transmission and overall operating costs. Solar panels with a capacity of have also been installed at the Digital Management Center, and the transfer of produced energy to the network has been ensured.
