A concert and diplomatic reception marking the Independence Day of Azerbaijan have been held by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.
According to EDnews representatives of the Finnish public, Azerbaijanis living in Finland, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country attended the events.
In their remarks, Ambassador Zaur Ahmadov and Director General of the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Olli Kantanen highlighted the positive dynamics in relations between the two countries, the meetings held between the two countries’ heads of state and foreign ministers last year.
The Finnish President's visit to Baku to attend COP29, the establishment of a friendship group on Azerbaijan in the country's parliament, and the existing opportunities for the development of bilateral ties were also acknowledged.Event also featured a performance of the jazz trio led by talented pianist Etibar Asadli, which was met with great enthusiasm from the audience.
