More than 60 foreign citizens have been evacuated from Iran via Azerbaijan, EDnews reports.
More than 60 foreigners arrived in Azerbaijan through the Astara State Checkpoint on June 26. In the afternoon, they were sent through the humanitarian corridor to their countries.
Among the evacuees were citizens of Australia, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, and Italy.
During transit through Azerbaijan, comfortable conditions were created for them, medical assistance was provided if necessary, and tea was served. After completing official customs procedures, the foreigners were sent by bus to their countries.
