A civilian aircraft, carrying only two pilots and a navigator on board, crashed outside Moscow on Friday, as reported by emergency services to RIA Novosti, Ednews reports.
"The plane crashed in a forested area and exploded after hitting the ground. According to preliminary information, the crew was killed," the service said.
According to Alexander Grechishchev, the head of the city district, the aircraft was identified as a Sukhoi Superjet and went down near the village of Apraksino.
