Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Victory Park in Baku on May 6.The prime minister of Belarus laid a wreath in front of the Victory Monument in the park.

Then, Turchin was given detailed information about Victory Park, which was created to commemorate the unparalleled heroism shown by the Azerbaijani people in the Patriotic War and the magnificent historical victory they won, and to perpetuate the dear memory of the martyrs.
It was noted that at the entrance to the park, which has an area of about 10 hectares, Victory Arch, with a height of 44 meters, a width of 22 meters, and 44 columns, was built as a symbol of the 44-day Patriotic War.The park was opened with the participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva on November 8, 2024.
