Today marked a momentous occasion as the West Azerbaijan Television building, a crucial component of the West Azerbaijan Community, was officially inaugurated.

Ednews reports that the event saw the participation of community leaders and distinguished public figures, underscoring the significance of this milestone.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman of the Board of the West Azerbaijan Community, MP Aziz Alakbarli, emphasized the television station's vital role in portraying the truth about the experiences of compatriots who were displaced from their villages over the past two centuries. He pledged unwavering support for activities aimed at restoring dignity to those affected and preserving the region's cultural heritage. Alakbarli highlighted the newly equipped building's capabilities to facilitate these endeavors.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of the West Azerbaijan Community, MP Hikmet Babaoglu, extended best wishes for the television station's future endeavors, stressing its importance in showcasing the rich heritage, history, and culture of West Azerbaijan.

Following the symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests and media representatives toured the premises, acquainting themselves with the state-of-the-art facilities.

Ulviyya Zulfigar, head of Public Relations and West Azerbaijan Television department of the West Azerbaijan Community, outlined the station's revamped broadcasting policy. The television will now broadcast six times a week, three times in Azerbaijani, three times in Russian, with an additional half-hour English review. Zulfigar detailed a diverse program lineup, including traditional shows like "Discussion Time," "News Release," and others spotlighting the region's cultural richness and historical significance.

Moreover, the building is equipped with dedicated studios and cutting-edge equipment to facilitate the production of these programs, providing ample opportunities for the creative team to thrive.
