Russia and Azerbaijan should remain close partners and allies, and all emerging problems must be resolved constructively, Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, EDnews reports.
"We still support and believe that logic says only one thing: that Russia and Azerbaijan are and must remain close partners, allies and countries united by a common history, a common present and a common future," he said.
Peskov noted that all emerging problems must be resolved constructively.
He also recalled the contacts between the head of Russia's Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, and the Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov with the prosecutor general of Azerbaijan.
