On April 28, Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, visited the Martyrs’ Alley in Baku during his official visit to Azerbaijan. According to EDnews, Pezeshkian honored the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s independence and territorial integrity by laying a wreath at the “Eternal Flame” monument.
He was also briefed on the history of the Martyrs’ Alley and the ongoing development projects in Baku, enjoying a view of the city from its highest point. This visit highlights the strengthening of ties between Azerbaijan and Iran and underscores the importance of Azerbaijan’s sovereignty.
