Azerbaijani working group on environmental issues holds meeting in Zangilan, Ednews reports.
The meeting is attended by Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vugar Karimov, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan regions included in the East Zangazur Economic Region, Vahid Hajiyev, Senior Advisor to the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan areas included in the East Zangazur economic region and other members of the working group.
Solutions for sustainable development of the environment through the restoration of karizs in Jabrayil district, evaluation of environmental factors in the socio-economic development of Eastern Zangazur economic region, the works done in the field of forestry in the liberated territories within the framework of Azerbaijan- Türkiye cooperation, ensuring environmental stability during the implementation of reconstruction projects in Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts, which are included in the Eastern Zangazur economic region, managing solid household waste in the liberated territories, restoration and reconstruction of the hydrometeorological observation network matters are discussed in the meeting held in Zangilan.
