"It is hypocritical to try to present Armenia as an important and innocent country that has not seen Armenia, which constantly brings tension to the South Caucasus and blocks the economic potential of the region."
These words were mentioned by political scientist Tural Ismayilov in his statement to Ednews. According to him, such biased speeches of the EU are not the first for us:
"In general, Josep Borrell is a rather biased, insincere and alienated politician from the principles of equality within the European Union. It is unfortunate that he made statements about the South Caucasus under the influence of France. The fact that an experienced politician like Borrel, who has been represented in the European political system for a long time, follows so much French propaganda on the issue of Armenia and is under the influence of the Armenian lobby abroad actually reveals that political organizations in Europe are in a big crisis. This is not our first visit. Before that, Borrell made many ambiguous statements about the future of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations. The promise of support to Armenia in the name of a stronger and more stable Caucasus at the tripartite meeting held in Brussels yesterday between the USA, the European Union and Armenia is simply ridiculous. First, if we are talking about the South Caucasus, it is Armenia that has been blocking the process of a strong and stable South Caucasus for years. The factor of aggression created by it, the constant maintenance of tension in the region and the turning of provocations into the main political line of the state show that Armenia serves destruction rather than stability in the region.
