A young couple of Palestinian and Kashmiri origin in the USA developed a website that identifies brands owned by private Israeli companies and makes it easier for consumers to boycott these brands, Ednews reports via Anadolu Agency.
Nadia, who is of Palestinian origin, stated that while Israel's attacks on Gaza continue, she wants to do more for the Palestinian people than sharing photos on social media and has developed a website called "DisOccupied" with her husband Shehzad.
Noting that they spent hundreds of hours identifying companies that support the American-Israeli Political Action Committee (AIPAC) in the process of developing the site, Shehzad said, "The message we want to give is to review your consumption habits." said.
Nadia said, "While paying zakat, you may also be supporting companies that are complicit in genocide." he warned.
Pointing out that most of the money spent by Zionist organizations to fund illegal Israeli settlements comes from private capital, Shehzad stated that they display the brands in question on their sites.
Nadia announced that the application version of the "DisOccupied" site, which makes it easier to boycott brands that support Israel, is also in the preparation process.
