Azerbaijan expresses concern over the further escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan. The statement condemned the military attacks against Pakistan, which resulted in the death and injury of several civilians.
“EDnews” reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on this.
"In solidarity with the people of Pakistan, we express our condolences to the families of the innocent victims and wish the injured a speedy recovery. We call on all parties to exercise restraint and resolve the conflict through diplomatic means," it said.
It should be noted that the Indian Air Force struck Pakistani civilian infrastructure. As a result of the attack, 26 people were killed and 46 were injured. The Pakistani side took retaliatory measures to India's aggression and shot down five Indian fighter jets.
