Italy plans to intensify cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of culture, including educational initiatives, exhibitions, and events aimed at promoting Italian culture and tourism.
''EDnews'' reports that, Italian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Luca Di Gianfrancesco said this in an interview with "Agenzia Nova".
He emphasized that culture occupies an important place in Rome's foreign policy: "Cultural heritage plays the role of a bridge between the past and the future. Given this, we will continue to invest in organizing new cultural initiatives in Azerbaijan and promoting tourism in Italy. The Italian Design Day, held for the first time this year at ADA University in Baku, demonstrated the superiority of Italian design, "Made in Italy" and industrial know-how."
The ambassador said that the Italian diplomatic mission plans to organize events in Baku dedicated to the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games to be held in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo in 2026.
