This year, on October 9-10, a cybersecurity conference will be held at the Baku Congress Center LLC as part of the Critical Infrastructure Defense Challenge 2025 event organized by the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security and the State Security Service.
“EDnews” reports that conference participants will participate in presentations and panel discussions on cyberspace problems such as the application of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, “deepfake”, “Zero Trust” in the global cyber environment, analysis of real incidents, development prospects of the information security market, etc., as well as receive real recommendations from experts.
It will also host training sessions called “Cyberwarfare in Smart Cities”. The goal is to strengthen the defense of virtual critical information systems against cyber threats and increase practical skills in managing information systems in crisis situations. During the training, teams of 3-5 people will try to defend their virtual information systems against simulated cyberattacks. The prize fund of the training will amount to 30 thousand manats.
In addition, a free training program called “Hack The Future 2” will be organized as part of the event. Within the framework of this program, six free master classes in the field of cybersecurity will be held for participants of different ages and knowledge levels.
Like the event in this format, which was first organized two years ago it will bring together representatives of government agencies, leading experts in the field and students. The main goal of the event is to discuss modern trends in the field of cybersecurity, solve real problems and demonstrate cyber defense solutions that meet modern challenges.
