On April 28, an international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of academician Zarifa Aliyeva will be held at the joint initiative of the Ministry of Health, the National Ophthalmology Center named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva, and the Azerbaijan Ophthalmologists' Society.
EDnews reports that the traditional conference is an important platform for the exchange of experience between local and foreign specialists. The conference will discuss the latest scientific achievements and medical technologies in the field of ophthalmology. The main goal of the event is to analyze current issues in ophthalmology, new diagnostic and treatment methods, as well as determine future goals.
Doctors of the National Ophthalmology Center, ophthalmologists and scientists from different regions of the country will make scientific reports and exchange views at the event. Also, well-known specialists from Russia, Turkey, Italy, Georgia and other countries will participate in the conference and share their experience.
At the same time, Sunay Duman, Honorary President of the Ophthalmological Society of the Turkish Republics, will deliver reports on “The Future of Ophthalmology in the Light of Academician Zarifa Aliyeva”, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Hijran Namazova, Deputy Director of the National Ophthalmology Center, “The Rich Scientific Heritage of Academician Zarifa Aliyeva and the Development of Modern Ophthalmology”, and Professor Huban Atilla, Head of the Turkish Ophthalmological Society, will deliver reports on “Amblyopia: New Treatment Methods”.
