The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned the attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait.
"The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the continuing Iranian attacks against the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, in violation of their sovereignty, which have once again targeted certain civilian and vital facilities, including Kuwait International Airport, resulting in the death of one person, the injury of others and the infliction of serious damage to certain vital facilities. The General Secretariat extends its condolences and sympathy to the State of Kuwait, its leadership and people, and wishes the injured a speedy recovery.
The General Secretariat affirms that these ongoing attacks constitute a clear violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations and are likely to undermine international efforts to restore security and stability in the region.
The General Secretariat reaffirms its full solidarity with and support for the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain in all measures they take to safeguard their sovereignty, security and territorial integrity," the OIC said in a statement.
