Iranian state media is reporting that the funeral for the country’s late supreme leader, Ali Khamenei is to start in July.
On July 13 and 14, a farewell ceremony will be held in Tehran, followed by a funeral ceremony in Tehran on July 15, and in Qom on July 16.
Khamenei is to be buried in the shrine of Imam Reza in the city of Mashhad after another funeral ceremony there on July 18.
