The ambassador also touched upon the interaction between Venezuela and Azerbaijan on the issue of climate change: "We continue to cooperate and work hand in hand with Azerbaijan to address climate change issues."The diplomat added that Caracas is interested in developing cooperation with Baku in the areas of trade, energy, as well as within the South-South cooperation.
"We expect our minister of tourism to visit Azerbaijan in mid-June to develop relations in the tourism sector. She will come to Azerbaijan to continue discussing and implementing joint initiatives within the tourism exchange between our countries," he added.
Venezuelan Tourism Minister Leticia Cecilia Gomez Hernandez will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan in mid-June, Venezuelan Ambassador to Baku Christopher Alberto Martinez Berroteran told EDnews.
